Cookie Notice
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate this website and to process your order; because they are strictly necessary, they do not require your consent under Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC and Section 13/A of Hungarian Act CVIII of 2001. Only with your consent do we also use the Meta Pixel (see below), which sets advertising cookies. Nothing from Meta loads until you press "Accept" in the cookie bar, and you can change your choice at any time. Our own pages set no other cookies. In your browser's local storage we keep only the three items described below the table: one remembers your cookie choice, the other two are needed for something you asked for.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Distinguishes humans from bots to protect the site from abuse | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Records that you passed a security challenge; only set if a challenge is shown | As configured for the site's challenge passage, 30 minutes by default |
| Checkout cookies | Sold through Link, LLC | Operate the secure checkout window (session, fraud prevention) | See https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/privacy |
| _fbp | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., through the Meta Pixel, only with your consent | Recognises your browser across visits, so that Meta can measure which of our Facebook and Instagram ads led to a visit or a purchase, and show our ads to people likely to be interested | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., through the Meta Pixel, only with your consent | Stores the click identifier when you arrive from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram | 90 days |
Stored in your browser (local storage), never sent to anyone: sw-consent-v1 remembers whether you accepted or declined the Meta Pixel, so that the cookie bar does not reappear on every page; sw-draft-v1 keeps what you typed on the order form, so a reload does not lose it; it is deleted when you continue to payment, use a pack code or send a reply card, and when you press "Start over". A draft is ignored after 7 days and removed the next time you open the form. sw-own-<card> is set only in the browser of the person who made the card (on the preview, on the thank-you page after payment, or when they open the link from their e-mail), so that their own visits do not trigger the "they opened it" e-mail. The card page stores nothing else, and nothing at all on a device that opens the plain card link.
Song player on a Page: if the person who made the card added a song, the Page shows a play button. The Spotify or YouTube player (YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com) loads only when the Recipient taps it; from then on that provider may set its own cookies or similar storage under its own rules. Before the tap nothing is loaded from them, and playing the song is not needed to use the Page.
Meta Pixel (only with your consent): if you press "Accept" in the cookie bar, our pages load the Meta Pixel from connect.facebook.net. It sets the cookies above and sends Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. the pages you view on our site, the occasion you look at, the start of a checkout, and technical data of your browser and device (such as the IP address and browser type). If you then buy a card, our server also reports the purchase to Meta (Conversions API): the order number, the amount, a one-way hash of your e-mail address and the _fbp/_fbc identifiers; if you had not accepted when you started the checkout, it sends nothing. We use this to measure and target our Facebook and Instagram ads. For collecting this data and passing it to Meta, we and Meta are joint controllers (Art. 26 GDPR); Meta processes it further as a controller under its own policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy). Declining changes nothing about using Sendawick. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the "Cookie settings" button in the footer or here: . We then delete the _fbp and _fbc cookies from your browser. The card pages sent to Recipients never load the Meta Pixel.
Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a small script we include on our pages, which uses no cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint you and does not track you across sites; it only counts page views and measures how fast pages load. On the home page, the occasion pages and the order form, a tiny script of our own (/assets/ev.js) also tells our server that the page was viewed and, on the order form, how far it got (for example that the preview button was pressed, or that the request failed); the server only increases an anonymous daily count (day, page type or step, language). It sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser and sends no identifier. The bot check on the order form (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs without cookies of its own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the checkout may then not work. Questions: hello@sendawick.com.
